The Board of Directors of the West Douglas County Fire Protection District is offering for sale a 1986 KME/Chevrolet Diesel 4x4 Conversion Wildland Interface Engine.This would make an excellent purchase for an eastern plains department.

• Locking front hubs, transfer case, HI/LOW range, front differential electric/air.
• Electric front winch with remote controller (wired).
• Former South Metro (Castlewood) Engine 36 (Colorado)
• Standard Cab Wildland Interface Engine
• One cross lay above pump (1 1/2"). Two upper rear hose lays (1 1/2")
• Supply line hose bed at rear. Hose reel in rear compartment.
• Left and right spray nozzles at front bumper.
• Mileage approximately 57,000 miles (see odometer photo)
• Emergency Lights, Electronic Siren, Scene Lights
• Detroit "Fuel pincher" 8.2L V8 Turbo Diesel Engine
• Dual Batteries & Isolation Switch
• Alison Automatic Transmission/Air Brakes
• 27,000 GVW (7,000 -- 19,000) 4X4 Conversion
• Hale 1,000 GPM two stage pump, mid-ship pump transmission.
• Two stage pump crossover valve needs maintenance.
• 1000 gallon booster tank (?)
• Auxiliary pump with round the pump foam -- gas driven engine.
• 24' Extension ladder, 12' roof ladder, 10' closet ladder, 2 pike poles
• Booster reel and hose/nozzle.
• Honda generator in R2 compartment
