1954 Chevy Pickup Truck
We have used this truck for several remodels and some landscaping -- it is happiest when it is full of weight and working. Now I am in my 70s and no longer doing this hard work - but this Chevy is still younger than me and has some years in it yet! Of course it has some age issues as expected. Have maintained it in working condition but never got around to the paint job and a few other things -- your turn?Runs fine. Straight six cylinder engine. Over the last few years we have invested in this truck -- a new bed in the back, a lot of new electrical throughout including new alternator, new radiator, new outer and inner bearings, new front brake shoes, new fuel float and fuel supply hose, wipers fixed, three new U-joints, steering system tightened up, new suspension bushings.
This 3600 series three quarter ton features the "five windows" (curved windows in the back corners of the cab) which are charming and sought after.
