1978 Mack Water Tank Truck
This was formerly a concrete mixer, but a 3000 gal water tank was installed last year. It is a 78 Mack with only 172K miles, so it has a lot of life left. It's powered by a 237 Hp Mack Diesel with a Maxi Torque 5 speed trans, with high and low range. It also has a Hendrickson Spring Suspension, so no air bags to worry about. It has a remote spray valve mounted on the back of the tank for construction work, that is air operated from the cab and also has a powerful water pump powered by a 4 cylinder Wisconsin engine. The pump works great but needs a carburetor. This is a great running truck and has a fresh paint job. It would be a good investment to protect a valuable piece of property in a high fire risk area, and based on projections, this is going to be another bad fire season.
